The online Kick-Off event for the Erasmus+ project ”Diverse Courses” took place successfully on December 19th and 20th 2023. Over 20 participants, stakeholders and project partners celebrated the start of this exciting new project, which is being worked on by 6 partner organizations from 5 different countries:

The project’s main aim is to contribute to inclusion and diversity in adult education on a European-wide level.  Every work package will develop tools to enhance the understanding of diverse needs by learners and educators and moreover help the handling of diversity in an adult educational context.

In the dense meeting, every partner organization presented their individual area of responsibility ranging from project management, quality management, and dissemination strategy to content-related work. Fortunately, all of the partners have a lot of experience in executing Europe-wide projects, which was also emphasized by Corinna Engelhardt-Nowitzki (CEO of FH Joanneum) who gave a short opening speech. In that, she also mentioned the importance of the topic and the diversity of the project group itself – coming from different countries and backgrounds

The meeting ended fruitfully and kicked off the first content-related tasks which are to be released in late Spring 2024 – stay tuned!
