Diverse Courses Project aims to contribute to inclusion and diversity in adult education. We focus on supporting educators in addressing the diverse needs of learners in their courses.
The project will develop resources, including course mapping tools and didactical scenarios, to unlock learners’ and educators’ potentials. These resources will enhance educators’ competences in dealing with diversity and promote a more inclusive learning environment.
Understanding Learners’ and Educators’ Potentials
This work package of the project aims to enhance educators’ ability to address diverse learner needs. It involves developing a Course Mapping Tool to understand learners’ profiles and creating didactical scenarios for tailored teaching.
The expected outcomes directly impact the teaching practices within educational institutions. By refining curricula and instructional strategies, educators can better cater to diverse student needs.
Unlocking Learners’ and Educators’ Potentials
Built upon the foundation laid by the previous results, this work package delves deeper into personalised learning and professional development for educators.
By understanding the evolving needs of learners and educators, we will develop didactical scenarios and adaptable teaching methods. These insights are then disseminated through various channels, including an interactive online platform, workshops, webinars, and articles.

This resource will guide educators in understanding the diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and needs of their adult learners. It will also support self-reflection for educators to identify their own strengths and areas for development in inclusive teaching.
Tutorial on Creating Personas
This will offer a step-by-step approach for educators to develop learner and educator personas. These fictionalised profiles help make the diversity of a classroom more tangible and provide a basis for tailoring teaching strategies and resources.
Didactical Scenarios Toolkit
This toolkit will provide educators with ready-made scenarios based on real-world adult education situations. These scenarios will address how to adapt teaching styles, communication, content, and the classroom for diverse learner needs.
